The Marketing Associate position is to support and assist in executing the goals and objective of the Energi Marketing and Industry Relations Department. The position will involve helping to execute internal and external marketing and communications projects in accordance with the company’s defined operating plan.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with branding and marketing of all Energi Programs.
  • Assist in generation and/or editing of marketing materials including: promotional materials, program fact sheets, e-Newsletters, Website content and e-Marketing.
  • Key sales department liaison. Contact for sales representatives that need assistance with product or marketing issues.
  • Utilize Energi’s tools, such as Word Press, Survey Monkey, Energi-Live and energi.com, to initiate marketing strategies.

The position will focus on monitoring a defined set of claim files across a defined geographic region where Energi conducts business. The claims to be handled will include both first and third party with or without injuries. The claims generally will be classified as medium reserve, medium severity that could be referred to outside legal counsel or are awaiting same based on a specific set of Energi Claim Attributes. The claims monitored will be the claims which provide a mid level financial exposure to Energi. This work will be done on both run off and new programs.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Complete review of all open files which meet the severity classification.
  • Closely monitor all new files to make sure reserves are appropriately set by 45 Days.
  • Coordinate investigations upon notification of claim incident.
  • Assist claim handler in choosing outside counsel; investigators and experts.
  • Upon selection of outside counsel, monitor counsel’s activities; approve legal budget; review legal invoices; review all outside counsel reporting and provide claim handler with assessment of counsel’s strategy, pace of play and affect on reserves.
  • Continuously consult with assigned legal counsel to reach a joint claim strategy. Discuss damages and liability with legal counsel assigned for evaluation of adjuster’s handling and reserve levels. Oversight of carrier and third party administrator’s litigation activities.
  • Participate in the claims review process. Comply with management directives regarding investigating, evaluating and settling claims.
  • Proactively communicate with senior claim management to provide periodic claim status
  • Monitor claim handling issues and discuss with Management for the implementation of corrective action(s).
  • Effectively communicates with all parties, including insured’s, insurers, brokers, TPA’s, Energi staff and third parties in the claims process.
  • Report all appropriate risk information to internal Underwriting Department that would indicate and undesirable risk or excessive risk exposure.

The position will have responsibility for an active and diverse caseload in our Risk Management & eRisk Solutions department, including review and oversight of complex general liability, property, environmental, bodily injury and identify subrogation potential on Claims. The attorney in this position will align with the Risk Management Department goals and collaborate with our adjusters and outside litigators on claims. The Litigation Attorney will provide strategic litigation advice and operate as a Manager and Claim Counsel for our third party adjusters/examiners.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Provide litigation management and strategic litigation advice to the Claims department.
  • Provide strategic planning of investigation and defense of claims involving, but not limited to, property damage, product liability construction losses, environmental claims, 93A and 176D actions, and fire and explosion.
  • Oversight of open files and litigation, including subrogation, complex and catastrophic claims, as assigned.
  • Oversight of investigations where applicable.
  • Recommend defense counsel assignments, investigators and experts, and appropriate additions to panel counsel.
  • Monitor activities of outside counsel on assigned cases so as to influence positive outcomes, including review of outside counsel invoices and expert invoices to ensure compliance with case strategy.
  • Participate in the claims review process.
  • Prepare periodic reports in accordance with program protocol.
